You are a rogue process, spawned somewhere you shouldn't be, inside a stranger's computer, running inside their shell. The sysadmin knows something's wrong. They're watching. They're typing. They're coming.

Navigate a filesystem-as-dungeon, sneak past real shell commands (grep, ps aux, kill -9) telegraphed in real time, and solve a handful of small puzzles scattered across the system to piece together a passcode. Get the code, reach the target file, corrupt it, and get out, before you're caught.

Every command you see on screen is a real one. Every folder is a real directory. This isn't a metaphor for a shell. It IS the shell.

HOW TO PLAY

1. WASD / Arrow Keys to move
2. Walk into folders to enter them, solve the puzzle inside to earn a piece of your access code
3. Watch the terminal at the top of the screen. Every sysadmin command is telegraphed before it hits. Read it, react to it, survive it.
4. Once you've got the full code, find the target file and run it, if you make it there undetected.
5. Not happy with your run? Hold [R] at any time to restart.

ABOUT THIS BUILD

Built solo for Club Club Jam Jam (theme: Shell), interpreting the theme literally as a computer/OS shell, the command-line environment the entire game takes place inside.

For the best experience (smoother performance, no input/audio delay), I recommend downloading and playing the Windows build below rather than the browser version.
